The theme for this illustrations was “romantic date”, and there’s nothing more romantic than reviving the woman you love, who’s spirit you held captive and who actually hates you.

And then getting torn into pieces by her angry, resuscitated soul (in a re animated body you made out of “spare” (a.k.a. stolen) limbs), because that’s what you get for doing something like that. That’s why you should listen when a dead woman says she’ll rather be dead than be with you.
